How does Mobly's OCR work?

Get an understanding of Mobly's OCR/enrichment process

Mobly uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to quickly scan business cards and capture essential contact details. Here's what we extract:

• First Name
• Last Name (If you're interested in enabling this beta feature, please reach out to your CSM.)
• Email
• Phone Number

How It Works:

1. You scan a business card using Mobly.
2. Our OCR technology reads the card and identifies the relevant information.

   1. If the OCR doesn't detect any text, you'll receive an alert with the option to retake the photo or proceed with the current one. While OCR isn't always perfect, if your image is clear, the other steps in the enrichment process can still extract the necessary information.

      

      
      
3. The extracted details are then organized and saved for easy access.
4. Once OCR reads the card, the lead enters the data enrichment process. This involves passing your lead through multiple AI data partners, followed by a final manual review by a human data analyst to ensure accuracy.

This process makes it easy to digitize your contacts and manage them efficiently.
