How to update leads in the Hub

Using the Hub as a non-admin to update and follow-up with leads

After a tradeshow or big networking event, it's crucial to follow up with the connections you made to build trust and get them into your CRM so you can act on them. But leads in the CRM are only helpful if they have crucial qualifying information.


It’s not always possible to add detailed notes on the tradeshow floor, so we’ve made it easy to update and manage leads later from a desktop.


Accessing Your Leads in the Hub

Mobly Client users can now log in to the Hub to update and follow up on leads from a desktop, rather than only through the mobile app.


With a Client role, you'll have access to the My Leads page, where leads are categorized into:

  • Leads Missing Tags or Description

    Leads from the past 7 days that do not have a description or at least one tag. This helps you quickly add missing details while the interactions are still fresh. Once you add a description, tag, or activity, the lead is removed from this list. Even if no updates are made, the lead is automatically removed after 7 days.


  • Leads Favorited By You

    Leads you’ve manually favorited by clicking the star icon in the app or Hub. Use this list to track high-priority leads that you need to keep on your radar and follow-up with quickly.


  • Your Recent Scans

    A chronological list of all your scans, with the most recent first.


View Lead Details

Clicking on a lead from any list will open its details page, where you can:

  • View contact detailsevent historyimages of scans, and an activity timeline.
  • Edit contact information, tags, and description to ensure correct attribution and improve follow-ups.

Editing Contact Information

If you'd like to update the contact information for a lead:

  1. Click the lead to open the lead details page.
  2. Click the edit icon in the top right.
  3. Update phone, email, or other fields. (These edits sync with the CRM but are private to you and not shared with the Mobly team.)


Adding Tags & Descriptions

For leads missing contextual information:

  1. Click the lead to open the lead details page.
  2. Click the edit icon in the Tags box and select the most relevant options.
  3. Click the pencil icon in the top right and scroll to the description box to make edits.


Keeping your leads updated ensures better follow-ups with complete information and accurate attribution in your CRM/MAP, making reporting and sales efforts more effective.
