HubSpot + Mobly Integration Guide

Overview

This guide will help you integrate your HubSpot account with Mobly so leads captured at events via the Mobly app automatically sync into your HubSpot CRM—with context, tags, and engagement logs to support your workflows and reporting.

What We’ll Need From You

To get started, please do the following:

  • Authenticate the HubSpot + Mobly connection by installing from the HubSpot App Marketplace
  • Creating fields where we can map Mobly specific data

Setup Steps

  1. Authenticate HubSpot to Mobly using the App Marketplace.
  2. Work with the Mobly team to map Mobly fields (lead info, tags, campaigns) to your HubSpot fields.

Using the HubSpot App Marketplace

  1. Go to the HubSpot App Marketplace and search for Mobly. Or follow this link to go directly there.
  2. Click "Install app".

  1. If you're not already logged into the Mobly Hub, you'll need to authenticate by entering your username and password.

Field Mapping

Here are the contact object fields that Mobly can send over to HubSpot:

Basic Lead Info

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Personal Email
  • Personal Address
  • LinkedIn
  • Facebook
  • X (Twitter)
  • Profile Picture
  • Job Nitle
  • Phone number
    • We recommend mapping this to the "Mobile Phone Number" field.
  • Other Phone Numbers
    • If you wish to have additional phone numbers that enrichment finds, we recommend making a new field such as "mobly_other_phone_numbers". This will come in as a semicolon separated list.

Company Info

This info maps to the contact object, not the company object.

  • Company Name
  • Company Industry
  • Company LinkedIn
  • Company Street Address
  • Company City
  • Company State
  • Company Zip Code
  • Company Country

Mobly Specific Info

Here are the Mobly fields that you likely don't already have in your CRM and will need to create.

All Mobly Campaigns Concatenated string of Mobly Campaign IDs mobly_all_campaigns Multi-line text

Tags

Tags in Mobly help with segmentation, qualification, and automation inside HubSpot.

  • Examples of Tag Categories:
    • Score (Hot, Medium, Cold)
    • Product Interest
    • Marketing Campaign
    • Segments (Buyer, Decision Maker, Influencer, End-User)
    • Next Steps (Set Meeting, Follow-up)
    • Send Contract (Yes, No)

In Mobly, tags work like a picklist rather than free‑form text. We can sync them to text, picklist, or checkbox fields in HubSpot. Each tag group should map to its own field in HubSpot. However, we suggest using text fields to allow for multi-select tags and future-proofing for any changes you make to Mobly tags.

Engagement Logging

Mobly logs all interactions with leads in HubSpot under the activity timeline.

Engagement actions include:

  • Calendar invites
  • Personal emails
  • Calls
  • Texts
  • Social media connections (LinkedIn, Facebook, X)
  • Notes about the interaction

This data is valuable for auditing, reporting, and tracking rep performance and follow-up workflows.

Disconnect the app

If you wish to disconnect Mobly from your HubSpot account, you can do so by follow these steps:

  1. Find the app on the Connected Apps tab in Settings.
  2. Click the Actions drop down and then Go to settings.
  3. On the Auth tab, scroll to the bottom and click "Delete <app name>"
