## How updates are grouped

Mobly ships changes as they're finished, not on a fixed release cadence — so on any given day, some weeks light up with multiple changes and others have none. To make that readable, the changelog groups updates by **week**, with entries dated to the Friday of the week in which they shipped. Each week's entry lists the individual features and fixes that landed that week.

## A note on historical entries

Three different periods of history live in the changelog, with different levels of precision:

| Period | Source | Precision |
| ------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **2026 onward + H2 2025 (from July 2025)** | Sourced from product release records | Week-grain dates, customer-facing summaries written from release context |
| **H1 2025 (January 2025)** | Legacy release notes written quickly at the time | Month-grain dates, light copy editing |
| **2024** | Legacy release notes written quickly at the time | Month-grain dates, light copy editing |

The legacy 2024 and early-2025 entries may not match exactly what shipped at the time — some entry text describes a feature as it works today rather than as it shipped originally, and a handful of entries may overlap as features rolled out incrementally. Treat those as approximate. For precise release history, ask your CSM.

## Tag taxonomy

Each entry is tagged with the **product area** it touched and (where appropriate) the **change type**:

| Tag | Means |
