How Communication integrations differ

Unlike CRM and Marketing Automation integrations, Communication integrations don't sync lead records. They receive event-triggered messages — for example, a Slack notification when a lead is captured at an event. That means the standard tabs (Mapping, Tags, Campaigns, Reconciliation) don't apply here. Each Communication integration has a simpler surface focused on what to send and where.
