How to use Mobly labels

Mobly labels give you a reusable way to route leads captured at your events into the right CRM campaigns — without redoing CRM setup for every event. Attach a label to an event (or several events), give it a CRM Campaign ID and some criteria, and any lead that matches gets tagged with that label and pushed to the right CRM campaign.

Labels can also serve as triggers for Pulse sequences. If you want a specific follow-up sequence to run whenever a label fires, see Understanding Sequences.

Setup

To start using labels in Mobly, contact your CSM to get the feature enabled for your organization.

Once enabled:

  1. Navigate to the Labels tab in the Hub. Click New Label in the top right corner.

  2. Give the label a name and add the CRM Campaign ID from your CRM / MA tool (e.g., the Salesforce Campaign ID). Then define the criteria that make a lead qualify:

    • The date range when the label should be active

    • The qualifier values that should trigger it

    • The events it should run at

  3. Save. Any lead who meets the criteria gets the label logged to their Activities feed (visible on the lead's Activities tab in either the mobile app or the Hub) and is sent to your CRM tagged with the CRM Campaign ID.

With the CRM Campaign ID on the lead in your CRM, you can build downstream flows in the CRM to trigger whatever follow-up you need — enrollment in a specific campaign, assignment to an owner, entry into a nurture, etc.

Managing labels on an event

You can also view and manage labels from inside an event. Open an event's Labels tab (or equivalent) to see which labels are active for that event, add new ones, or edit existing ones.

Each label shows how many leads it triggered on and why they triggered — helpful for spot-checking that criteria are working as intended.

Archiving or deleting

Use the Actions menu on any label row to archive (hide from the app without deleting) or delete. Archive is usually the safer choice — you keep the historical values on leads that were already tagged.
