# Sharing your business card (My Card)

{% embed url="<https://getmobly.wistia.com/medias/yihd163o2u>" %}

**My Card** is your digital business card inside Mobly. When someone walks up to your booth and asks for your card, you can share your contact details with them in a few seconds — no paper, no fumbling for a stack you left at the hotel.

## What's on your card

Your name, title, company, and contact info — the same fields you'd find on a printed business card. The card pulls from your Mobly profile, so updating your profile updates the card. See [How to change profile information](/help-center/account-and-team/how-to-change-profile-information.md).

## How to share it

Tap the **My Card** button on the home screen. The card opens with options to share via:

* **QR code** — let them scan your card from their phone's camera
* **Link** — drop a link in a text, an email, or anywhere you can paste

## When to use My Card

* **Someone walks up without a badge** — you can't scan them, but they can scan you
* **End of a conversation** when you'd traditionally hand over a business card
* **Networking events** without a structured scan flow

## Keeping your card up to date

Your card is a live view of your profile. Updates happen in the profile editor (the same place you set your name, photo, and calendar links). See [How to change profile information](/help-center/account-and-team/how-to-change-profile-information.md) for the full list of fields.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.getmobly.com/help-center/the-mobly-app/team-and-personal-tools/sharing-your-business-card.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
