# How to favorite a lead

Favoriting marks a lead with a star so you can find them quickly later. It's the right tool for "this person is important — don't lose them in the list."

## Favorite a lead

1. Find the lead in any list view, or open their Lead Details page.
2. Tap the **star icon** next to the lead's name or in the header of the Lead Details page.

## View your favorited leads

1. Go to the **Leads** page.
2. Tap the **Favorites** pill button at the top. The orange circle on the button shows how many leads you've favorited.
3. The list filters to favorited leads only.

## Remove a lead from favorites

Tap the **star icon** again next to the lead's name or in the header of the Lead Details page. The star unfills and the lead drops out of the Favorites view.

## When to use Favorites vs Qualifiers

Favorites are a personal, lightweight signal — a way for you to flag leads worth coming back to. They aren't part of your qualifier taxonomy and don't sync to your CRM as a field.

For anything you want to filter, report on, or trigger CRM workflows from, use qualifiers instead. See [How to add a qualifier to a lead](/help-center/the-mobly-app/working-with-a-lead/how-to-add-a-qualifier-to-a-lead.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.getmobly.com/help-center/the-mobly-app/working-with-a-lead/how-to-favorite-a-lead.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
